Peter Wright

Peter Wright is a Shareholder in Dentons Sirote’s Birmingham, Alabama office and a member of the Trusts, Estates and Wealth Preservation practice group, focusing on trust and estate litigation.

His practice encompasses will contests, estate and trust administration disputes, joint account and joint ownership disputes, power of attorney litigation, and representation of fiduciaries and beneficiaries. He also handles guardianship and conservatorship matters and has been appointed to mediate trust and estate administration disputes.

Peter holds a J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law (1995) and a B.A. in journalism from Washington and Lee University (1985).

He is recognised by The Best Lawyers in America® for Litigation – Trusts and Estates (2012–2026) and Trusts and Estates (2020–2026), and was named “Lawyer of the Year” in Birmingham for Litigation – Trusts and Estates in 2024.
