Lincoln J. Carr, Sr

Lincoln J. Carr, Sr is a Senior Managing Associate in Dentons' Litigation and Dispute Resolution and White Collar and Government Investigations practice groups, focusing on white collar criminal defense, government investigations, and civil litigation.

He has litigated in state and federal courts across multiple jurisdictions and in AAA arbitrations. Notable successes include successfully defending a client accused of conspiring to defraud the Mine Safety and Health Administration after a seven-day jury trial, achieving a not guilty verdict for a client in a complex narcotics conspiracy trial, and securing a favorable settlement for a small IT business in an arbitration over a contract dispute. He has also conducted investigations in response to SEC inquiries, represented clients in asbestos products liability claims, and handled multiple claims brought against the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts.

Lincoln holds a J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law (2018), where he was a Notes Editor for the Journal of Animal and Environmental Law and a Brandeis Academic Fellow, and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Louisville (2012), where he earned Big East All-Academic Team honors as a wide receiver on the football team.
