Joseph H. Harrison Jr.

Joseph H. Harrison Jr. is a Partner at Dentons, practicing in the Public Policy and Regulation group, specializing in Administrative Law. With nearly 40 years of experience, he represents government agencies and provides counsel on economic development projects, contracts, litigation, employment matters, and operations.

Joe currently serves as attorney for Posey County, Indiana, the Posey County Redevelopment Commission, the Posey County Regional Sewer District, and the Evansville‑Vanderburgh County Building Authority. He advises local businesses on labor and employment, contracts, real estate, leases, acquisitions, and day‑to‑day operations, and represents clients before government agencies. He also represents individuals in litigation and estate planning. Since 2014, he has served as a commissioner on ORSANCO (the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission), and began serving as Chairman on July 1, 2025.

Joe holds a J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law (1984) and a B.A. from DePauw University (1981). He is admitted to practice in Indiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
