Jeffrey Sivek

Jeffrey Sivek is a Partner and Deputy Head of M&A at Dentons, based in the Washington, DC office, practicing in the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions group. He represents clients at all stages of growth on a wide range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, debt and equity securities offerings, financings, and joint ventures across industry sectors including manufacturing, distribution, restaurant franchising, airport concessions, and medical devices.

Mr. Sivek has advised on numerous significant transactions, including representing the owners of VXI Global Solutions (including Bain Capital) in its US$1.05 billion sale to The Carlyle Group, representing Cura Partners in its sale to Curaleaf Holdings for approximately $800 million (the largest cannabis M&A deal in US history at the time), and representing DiversiTech Corporation in its sale to Permira funds and in its acquisition of Triatomic Environmental (with an earnout of up to US$163 million). He also represented McFarlane Aviation in a US$64.292 million sale, American Campus Communities in a US$591 million portfolio acquisition, and a French dairy giant in a US$3.2 billion North American acquisition.

Jeff holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law (2014), where he was a member of the Business Law Review, and a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Maryland (2010). He has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Corporate Law and by The Legal 500 as a Recognized Lawyer in M&A: Middle-Market.
