Gregory Fennell

Gregory Fennell is a Partner at Dentons and a member of the firm's Real Estate practice, based in Los Angeles and New York. His practice focuses on Real Estate Law, representing institutional lenders and borrowers in the origination, syndication, workout and foreclosure of construction loans, permanent loans, loans intended for securitization, bridge loans and mezzanine loans.

Gregory also has extensive experience in EB-5 financing and representing owners, investors and lenders in the restructuring and deleveraging of substantial real estate portfolios. His track record includes the sale, financing and workouts of several major hotels and casinos.

His experience includes representing a client in the making of a mezzanine construction loan for the development of a luxury hotel, negotiating the sale of a hotel and casino resort in Atlantic City, handling the foreclosure of senior and mezzanine loan interests and seizure of assets of a debtor under Section 363 of the US Bankruptcy Code, and representing a developer in obtaining EB-5 financing for a major hotel and condominium project.

Prior to joining Dentons, Gregory was an associate in the New York office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Kaye Scholer LLP. He holds a JD, cum laude, from New York Law School, where he served as an articles editor of the Journal of International and Comparative Law, and a BA from the University of Connecticut.
