Erica Augustine

Erica Augustine is a Managing Associate at Dentons and a member of the firm's Real Estate practice. She focuses on Real Estate Law, representing banks, investment funds, community development entities, borrowers, developers and private equity clients in complex commercial transactions involving tax-advantaged financing structures.

Her practice includes new markets tax credits, investment tax credits, opportunity zones, state tax credit programs and other tax-incentivized transactions. She has also represented national and super-regional banks and developers in commercial finance transactions, including commercial lending, revolving lines of credit, real estate development, sales and acquisitions, and leasing.

Prior to joining the firm, Erica practiced in the finance and corporate transactions group of an international and national law firm, working on buy-side and sell-side mergers, acquisitions and other general corporate matters. She also worked at Deloitte in the M&A Tax Consulting practice, providing strategic and transactional tax consulting to Fortune 100 companies and private equity firms.

She holds a JD, cum laude, from California Western School of Law and a BA from the University of Missouri.
