Damian Georgino

Damian Georgino is a Partner at Dentons, practicing in the Corporate group, specializing in Infrastructure Law. He supports clients in the diversified industrials, water, energy, infrastructure, technology, and natural resources sectors, with a particular focus on water‑related projects and transactions in complex cross‑border and international deals.

Damian has sourced, negotiated, structured, and completed hundreds of transactions over his career, including debt, equity, and hybrid investments, financings, risk management, compliance, and joint ventures. Notable matters include completing an $8.6 billion sale of a Fortune 300 global water enterprise to a French multinational conglomerate; completing a $2.2 billion acquisition of the largest NYSE‑listed global residential water company; advising on a $1 billion "go‑private" transaction of a publicly traded water company; establishing the first water‑centric PE fund with over $1 billion AUM; completing a $1.6 billion commercial paper program for the nation's largest aggregates company; advising on a PPP project in Amman, Jordan to address non‑revenue water issues; and serving as consortium legal counsel on the structuring and financing of integrated desalination plants in the Middle East and North Africa. He also advises on data center water and energy nexus strategies across the US and globally.

Damian holds an MBA, summa cum laude, and a J.D. from Emory University, and a B.S. in Political Science and B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Dickinson College. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, New York, and Pennsylvania.

He serves as Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the Emory University School of Law Center for Transactional Law and Practice, and was a member of the Water Subcommittee of The President's National Infrastructure Advisory Council (2023–2024).
