Christopher J. Healey

Christopher J. Healey is a Partner in Dentons' San Diego office, practicing in the area of complex business litigation, with a focus on consumer class action defense, unfair competition claims and related actions.

He has significant experience representing clients in high-profile antitrust and consumer class actions, including serving as defendants' co-liaison counsel in coordinated electricity class actions arising from the California energy crisis. He was also co-lead counsel in Lavender v. Skilled Healthcare Group, Inc., obtaining a US$677 million verdict against Skilled Healthcare Group, Inc. and 22 nursing facilities, which was selected as a Top Plaintiffs' Verdict by the Daily Journal and Top Verdict by The Recorder. For his role in this case, he was recognized as a "Trial Lawyer of the Year" by the Public Justice Foundation.

Christopher holds a J.D., summa cum laude, from Santa Clara University School of Law (1982) and a B.S., cum laude, from Santa Clara University (1977).
