Brian Seibert

Brian Seibert is a Partner in Dentons' Commercial Litigation practice, based in the firm's New York office. His practice focuses on Insurance Law, advising and representing insurers, reinsurers and state insurance departments on a broad range of matters.

Brian has extensive experience handling claims across the US, Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa. He represents insurers in mediations, arbitrations and litigation in both state and federal courts throughout the US and in London.

His practice spans various types of insurance coverage including first-party property, aviation, commercial general liability, pollution liability, event cancellation, liquor liability, marine cargo, cyber liability, terrorism and builder's risk. He also represents reinsurers in domestic and international arbitration proceedings covering issues such as first-party and third-party property damage claims, aviation claims, property catastrophe excess of loss reinsurance and rescission.

Brian frequently advises clients on complex high-exposure claims including property damage claims, business interruption claims, aviation claims, COVID-19-related claims, environmental and asbestos claims, allocation disputes and bad faith claims. He holds a JD from St. John's University School of Law and a BS from Boston College, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
