Blair Johnson

Blair Johnson is an Associate at Dentons, practicing in the Corporate group, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. She advises clients on a variety of transactions including M&A, commercial contracts, securities, venture capital, and joint ventures across the retail, sports and entertainment, healthcare, and manufacturing industries.

Blair has been involved in significant transactions including advising Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc. on the carve‑out sale of its Diamond Power division to Andritz AG for US$177 million; serving as corporate counsel in German American Bancorp, Inc.'s merger with Heartland BancCorp (approximately US$1.9 billion in assets); representing a provider of water management solutions in the acquisition of a company specializing in custom‑engineered watertight closures; and representing a large American headwear company in its acquisition of another headwear company. She also advises Fortune 500 companies and large REITs on SEC filings and capital market transactions, and represents small business owners in the drafting of organizational documents and commercial contracts.

She holds a J.D., with honors, from Emory University School of Law (2022), an M.A. in Communications, summa cum laude, from the University of Kentucky (2019), and a B.A. in Journalism, summa cum laude, from the University of Kentucky (2018). She is admitted to practice in Kentucky and Illinois.
