Benjamin Spira

Benjamin Spira is a Partner in Dentons' Corporate Law practice, based in the New York office. He represents domestic and international enterprises at all stages of growth, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, and general corporate and commercial counseling.

Mr. Spira has advised on a range of significant transactions, including representing a provider of revenue cycle management solutions in connection with a strategic private equity investment by Pamlico Capital, a transportation-spend management company in its merger of equals with Trax Technologies (with the combined company managing over $10 billion in logistics spending), and Montage Hotels & Resorts in connection with a strategic investment by Ares Management, including an up to 20% minority stake acquisition and the provision of up to $200 million in future growth capital.

He holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law (2012), where he was a Staff Editor of the Environmental Law Journal, and a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania (2007). Prior to law school, he gained corporate, financing, and M&A experience as an investment banker at Bear, Stearns and Co., Inc.
