Amy L. Gilliatt

Amy L. Gilliatt is Of Counsel in Dentons' Corporate group, based in Indianapolis, focusing on business transactional matters with particular expertise in commercial and real estate lending.

She works with lending institutions and borrowers on financing transactions from negotiation through closing, including acquisition financings, mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, asset-based loans and complex intercreditor arrangements. She regularly serves as outside general counsel for clients of all sizes, advising on deal structuring, strategic planning, entity selection and formation, and contract drafting and negotiation. Notable matters include managing a $500 million loan portfolio for a national insurance provider, representing an agribusiness lender in financings including a recent $250 million financing of freezer facilities in seven states, and advising on New Markets Tax Credit financings for community and commercial developments.

Amy holds a J.D., cum laude from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law (2007) and a B.S. from Indiana University (2001).
