Zack Brandwein

Zack Brandwein is a Of Counsel in Dentons' Commercial Litigation practice, based in Portland, Maine, focusing on complex tort and business litigation in state and federal courts.

He represents clients in matters ranging from contract disputes to class action defense, with significant experience in property tax abatement proceedings and litigation, having litigated several of the largest property tax disputes in Maine. Notable matters include representing a nonprofit study abroad organization in defense against a pandemic-related class action, obtaining a defense judgment for a big box retailer in a major commercial abatement case, securing a six-figure judgment in a shareholder dispute, and obtaining a defense judgment in a seven-year precedent-setting property tax case.

Zack holds a J.D. with highest honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law (2016), a Master in Public Policy from the University of Maine (2011), and a B.A. in History from Occidental College (2009).
