Todd D. Daubert

Todd D. Daubert is a Partner at Dentons' Washington, DC office, where he chairs the firm's Communications and Technology sectors, leads the US Privacy and Cybersecurity team, and leads the Global TMT sector group. His practice focuses on helping companies develop, deploy, enhance and safeguard their technology, telecom and data products and services globally, with particular expertise in privacy, data security, and regulatory compliance.

He has advised a wide range of clients on complex technology and regulatory matters, including SoFi Stadium on the development and sale of DAS and 5G systems and data-driven guest experiences; T-Mobile USA on 5G deployment across the US, including negotiating major telecom agreements and developing IoT offerings; HBO on mobile app and streaming service deployment in non-US locations; a cloud computing giant on international expansion of AI services and devices; and Avis Budget Group on all aspects of its privacy and data protection program, including CCPA compliance. He also advises on M&A transactions involving regulated communications services and facilities, conducting due diligence and securing regulatory approvals.

Todd holds a J.D. with honors from Duke University School of Law (1993) and a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Oklahoma State University (1990). He served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Gerald B. Tjoflat of the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and was a recipient of the Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung Federal Chancellor Fellowship in Germany.
