Timothy J. Storino

Timothy J. Storino is a Partner at Dentons, practicing in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, specializing in Dispute Resolution. He is a former federal prosecutor and seasoned trial lawyer who handles white collar fraud and commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts, and represents clients facing investigations from federal and state authorities, providing strategic advice to shield clients from legal scrutiny while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Tim handles complex claims related to financial services, putative class actions, insurance coverage and bad faith, products liability, false advertising, the False Claims Act, civil racketeering, and breach of contract. He represents clients facing investigations related to financial fraud, cryptocurrency matters, public corruption, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. As a former federal prosecutor in the Northern District of Georgia and the Northern District of Illinois, he investigated and prosecuted a wide variety of criminal matters, including racketeering, public corruption, and financial fraud. He tried over a dozen federal jury trials, including two lengthy and complex racketeering trials, and served as senior litigation counsel and chief of the Violent Crimes Section, supervising nearly 20 federal prosecutors. He also conducts corporate internal investigations, ranging from criminal fraud to human resource matters.

Tim holds a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School (2005) and a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame (2002), where he was a four-year member of the varsity soccer team. He clerked for three federal judges, including on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is admitted to practice in Georgia and Illinois, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia, the Northern District of Indiana, the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the Central District of Illinois.

Tim earned numerous awards during his tenure at the Department of Justice, including the prestigious Attorney General's Award, the Department of Justice Director's Award (2019), and the Chicago Crime Commission Mitch Mars Prosecutorial Excellence Award (2014, 2017–2018). He serves as a faculty member at the DOJ National Advocacy Center and regularly guest lectures at Notre Dame Law School.
