Sunny Dhaliwal

Sunny Dhaliwal is a Partner and member of the US Tax team, advising clients on a wide variety of corporate and cross-border transactions. His primary practice area is Tax Law.

His work includes taxable and tax-free mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, financings, private equity transactions, and dispositions of domestic and foreign corporations.

His areas of focus include corporate governance, corporate taxation, international taxation, tax, and tax litigation and dispute resolution, as well as financial institutions.

Prior to his current role, he worked as a tax associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Dentons and Baker Hostetler LLP, and as a tax planning intern at Danaher Corporation.

He holds a Master of Laws in Taxation with a Certificate in International Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center (2014), a JD, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law (2011), and a BS in Accounting from Wayne State University (2008).
