Robert E. Tritt

Robert E. Tritt is a Senior Counsel at Dentons in Atlanta, with more than thirty years of experience representing public and private companies in a wide variety of corporate matters, with an emphasis on advising financial and strategic buyers in merger and acquisition transactions, corporate finance transactions and general corporate matters.

He advises clients across infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, energy, real estate, health care and life sciences. He focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, advising international and multinational companies on acquiring North American entities and assets. He also has extensive experience in complex real estate development and redevelopment, including the redevelopment of closed military bases, project development in the energy field, and financing through private and public finance and tax incentives.

He currently serves as outside general counsel to Galectin Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: GALT) and Impact Cryotherapy, Inc., and has advised senior management and boards of directors on their roles and responsibilities in both private and public company contexts.

Bob holds a J.D., cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law (1975), a B.B.A., magna cum laude from the University of Georgia (1972), and an LL.M. in Taxation from Emory University (1981).
