Richard Boydston

Richard Boydston is a Partner at Dentons, specializing in Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law. His practice encompasses representation of creditors, debtors, and committees, as well as bankruptcy litigation, receiverships, debtor/creditor relations, and commercial transactions and workouts.

Richard has extensive experience in complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters across multiple jurisdictions. He regularly advises on commercial loan workouts, foreclosure proceedings, and insolvency-related litigation. His practice also includes real estate litigation and dispute resolution, as well as banking and finance law.

He holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania (1977) and an A.B. from Harvard University (1974). He is admitted to practice in Kentucky and Ohio, and before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and multiple U.S. District Courts across Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana.
