Pooja Shah

Pooja Shah is a Senior Managing Associate in Dentons' Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, based in the Los Angeles office, practicing in Data Protection Law. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation with particular emphasis on privacy related claims, including the defense of clients in class actions alleging violations of the Video Privacy Protection Act, the Wiretap Act, the California Invasion of Privacy Act, and the California Computer Data Access and Fraud Act.

Ms. Shah regularly advises clients on privacy compliance issues under both state and federal privacy laws and has extensive experience with all phases of litigation in court and arbitration. She previously served as Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, representing both businesses and government entities.

She holds a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law (2015), where she served as Managing Editor of the International Law Review, and a B.A. in Political Science from Boston University (2010). She has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America as "One to Watch" for Commercial Litigation (2024-present).
