Paloma Gomez

Paloma Gomez is Dentons' Chief Executive Officer for Latin America and the Caribbean and a member of the firm's Global Board and Global Management Committee, based in Washington, DC. Her practice focuses on Corporate Law.

As CEO for Latin America and the Caribbean, Paloma leads the strategic direction of the largest and leading global law firm in the region across its 37 offices in 28 countries. Prior to her position as regional CEO, she was a partner in Dentons' Bogotá office and Chief Clients and Markets Officer for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Paloma is trained in both civil law and common law and has more than 25 years of experience in international transactions and law firm leadership, working from Spain, the United States and Latin America. Throughout her career, she has focused on international transactions, advising clients on the establishment of their business in foreign countries, on international acquisitions, on joint ventures and on dispute resolution.

In her leadership roles, she has enabled preeminent law firms to position themselves for success, emphasising client centricity, talent care and high-quality standards, and driving collaboration and consensus.

She holds an LLM in International Business and Economic Law from Georgetown University (2009), Doctoral Courses in mergers and acquisitions from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2003) and a Law degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (1995). Prior to her current role, she held positions at Dentons Cardenas & Cardenas, Sanchez Devanny Eseverri, Arnold & Porter LLP, The Family Partners LLC, Ashurst LLP, Uría Menéndez Abogados and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
