Mark A. Silver

Mark A. Silver is a Partner on the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team in Dentons' Atlanta office, specialising in Consumer Protection Law. He focuses on complex civil litigation in the areas of business, environmental, commercial, unfair competition and consumer protection, with particular expertise in cases brought under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

Mark has defended clients against dozens of consumer and statutory class actions under the TCPA across multiple states, as well as claims under the EFTA, FDCPA, FCRA, COPPA and California's Automatic Renewal Law. He regularly counsels organisations on compliance with these federal and state laws. He has argued cases before Georgia trial and appellate courts, Georgia's Supreme Court, and federal district and appellate courts across the country. He previously served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable R. Lanier Anderson III of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Mark graduated summa cum laude and as First Honor Graduate from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as Executive Notes Editor on the Georgia Law Review. He also served as a teaching assistant, research assistant and Dean's Ambassador. He holds a B.B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business.

He is ranked in Band 1 by Chambers USA for Litigation: TCPA Class Actions (2025–present) and is recognised in The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for Technology Law, Appellate Practice, Commercial Litigation and Litigation – Banking and Finance.
