Lindsay M. Buchanan

Lindsay M. Buchanan leads Dentons Cohen & Grigsby's Labor and Employment group and is a Shareholder, specialising in Employment Law. Her practice focuses on employment litigation and counseling clients on key employment law issues, defending companies and non-profit organisations against claims brought under Title VII, the ADA, ADEA, FMLA, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, and the FLSA, as well as before federal and state agencies.

Lindsay negotiates and drafts employment, severance, and restrictive covenant agreements, and counsels clients on hiring, performance, accommodations, leave, WARN Act compliance, reductions in force, background checks, and drug and alcohol policies. She conducts investigations into alleged employee misconduct and provides supervisory and employee training on discrimination and harassment prevention.

Lindsay holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif (2014), as well as an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction in Education from the University of Scranton (2008) and a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education from Edinboro University (2005).
