Leanne Sunderland

Leanne Sunderland is a Senior Managing Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group at Dentons, specialising in Dispute Resolution. She represents clients across multiple business sectors in class actions, construction cases, insurance coverage disputes, and general complex corporate litigation in both domestic and international jurisdictions.

Leanne has briefed dispositive motions before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and numerous federal district courts, and has presented oral argument in Georgia state and federal courts. She also has experience in medical malpractice and general liability litigation, often serving as monitoring counsel. Her robust pro bono practice includes representing individuals in landlord-tenant disputes and military service members.

Leanne graduated cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review, Vice President of Moot Court, and elected to the Order of the Barristers. She served as a judicial extern to Judge Stephen Dillard of the Georgia Court of Appeals and as a Judicial Assistant to Chief Judge Ural Glanville of the Fulton County Superior Court. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Georgia.

Leanne is recognised in The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for Commercial Litigation (2026) and was named Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation's Standing With Our Neighbors Volunteer of the Year in 2025. She currently serves on the GSU College of Law Alumni Council.
