Leanna M. Anderson, P.C.

Leanna M. Anderson, P.C. is the Office Managing Partner of Dentons' Dallas office, practicing in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, specializing in Dispute Resolution. She has two decades of litigation experience across a wide range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, unfair business practices, false advertising, employment, and statutory violations.

Leanna has served as lead or co-lead trial counsel in over a dozen trials, arbitrations, and evidentiary hearings, and has significant appellate experience before the Texas Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth and Ninth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court. She secured a monumental victory for American Campus Communities at the Texas Supreme Court concerning class action certification under the Texas Property Code; defended a leading global life insurer in a putative class action in the Northern District of California; and obtained favorable verdicts on behalf of retail and entertainment center owners against commercial tenants who breached leases during the COVID‑19 pandemic. She also served as lead trial counsel in North Dakota federal court against the State of North Dakota in a multi‑million dollar dispute, and second‑chaired a California federal trial resulting in a complete defense verdict and award of attorney's fees.

She holds a J.D., cum laude, from UC Hastings College of the Law (2002), where she was Order of the Coif and Managing Editor of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Utah (1998). She is admitted to practice in Texas and California, and before numerous U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Eighth and Ninth Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Leanna has been selected to the Southern California Rising Stars list (2013) and the Texas Rising Stars list (2015–2017). She is a member of Women in eDiscovery and The Sedona Conference.
