Kassie Rittmer

Kassie Rittmer is Special Counsel at Dentons Davis Brown, specialising in Patent Law. She is a registered patent attorney who assists clients in intellectual property matters including patent, copyright and trademark prosecution, enforcement, portfolio management, freedom to operate analyses, licensing agreements and confidentiality agreements.

Kassie has particular experience in copyright registration, enforcement and portfolio management, as well as advising on the use of copyrighted material belonging to others. She supports clients across a range of industries including agribusiness, biotechnology, food and beverage, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and consumer products.

Kassie holds a J.D., with High Distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law (2018), where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif and received the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence in Copyright Law and Patent Law. She also holds a B.S. in Food Science, summa cum laude, from Iowa State University (2015).
