Jennifer Kahney Thompson

Jennifer Kahney Thompson is a Partner at Dentons, practicing in Environmental Law. She has practiced environmental law for 25 years, working in both the public and private sectors, providing extensive experience dealing with environmental regulatory agencies. She assists manufacturing, commercial, agricultural, and governmental clients with air, water, and waste matters involving regulatory analysis, compliance assistance, defense of enforcement actions, and permitting.

Jennifer counsels clients on understanding regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance, negotiates with permitting agencies, and represents clients in enforcement actions and settlement negotiations. She also advises on environmentally contaminated properties and assists clients with returning to compliance.

She holds a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law (1994) and a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Indiana University Bloomington (1990). She is admitted to practice in Indiana and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
