Jemuel Gascon

Jemuel Gascon is a Managing Associate in Dentons' Employment and Labor practice group, resident in the firm's Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on Employment Law, representing and advising companies on all aspects of employment and labor law, spanning both litigation and transactional matters.

On the transactional side, Jemuel provides strategic counselling to clients on a range of workplace issues, including employee handbooks, union-organizing campaigns and employment agreements. He also supports corporate transactions by performing due diligence, identifying employment-related risks and helping ensure compliance during mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.

On the litigation side, he represents employers in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration, with a particular focus on wage and hour class actions. His litigation experience includes matters involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination and other employment-related claims.

Before joining Dentons, Jemuel worked at the largest global labor and employment law firm, clerked in the Criminal Division for the United States Attorney's Office of the Eastern District of California, volunteered at the New American Legal Clinic and served as a legal intern at the Sundance Institute. He holds a JD from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law and a BA, summa cum laude, from California State University, Fresno.
