H. Nathan N. Chubb

H. Nathan N. Chubb is Counsel in the US Competition and Antitrust group and a member of Dentons' Regulatory, Public Policy, and Government Affairs practice, focusing on Antitrust Law. He advises clients on all aspects of how antitrust law affects their business operations.

He is particularly focused on assisting clients through the regulatory review associated with complex, transformational mergers and acquisitions, advising on transaction structure, coordinating merger filings and advocating before the FTC and DOJ. In addition to his transactional work, he has experience litigating antitrust cases, advising trade organizations on compliance, forming and operating provider networks, and responding to government conduct investigations and information requests.

Prior to joining Dentons, he worked at a multinational law firm advising clients on antitrust issues across health care, industrial, energy and Big Tech. Before entering private practice, he worked for four years at the FTC, conducting numerous merger and conduct investigations, including negotiating several divestitures and other remedies.

His representative work includes advising the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Kneat on its acquisition by Thoma Bravo by way of a Canadian plan of arrangement, in a transaction valued at approximately CA$650 million. He holds a JD from George Mason University School of Law (2011) and a BA from the College of William and Mary (2006).
