Frank S. Benjamin

Frank S. Benjamin is a Partner in Dentons' Atlanta office and a member of the Intellectual Property and Technology practice group.

His experience encompasses all aspects of intellectual property and technology law, including trademark selection, clearance and prosecution, general IP counseling, and the negotiation and drafting of agreements relating to the protection, development, licensing, distribution and transfer of IP and technology. He has managed large global trademark portfolios for famous brands and has resolved disputes including domain name hijacking, Internet scams, online defamation and trademark/trade dress infringement, representing clients before the USPTO's Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and in venues worldwide. He also provides IP and technology law support in mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and similar transactions. Prior to joining Dentons, he served as general counsel for MTI/The Image Group, Inc., a media company in New York providing services to the TV and film industries.

Frank holds a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (1990) and a B.A., cum laude, from the State University of New York (1987).

He has been ranked by Georgia Trend magazine as one of the state's "Legal Elite". He is a member of TechAmerica, the Technology Association of Georgia, and the Intellectual Property and Technology Sections of the Georgia State Bar Association.
