Fatoumata Kaba

Fatoumata Kaba is an Associate in Dentons’ Commercial Litigation group, resident in the Short Hills office, focusing on Insurance Law. Her practice focuses on complex insurance matters concerning bad faith liability and coverage disputes.

Since joining Dentons, Fatoumata has also provided critical support on sensitive internal investigations for domestic and international businesses.

During law school, she served as a student fellow in the Center on Race, Inequality, and the Law and a student advocate in the Civil Rights and Racial Justice Clinic, where she represented clients in matters before the New York City Commission on Human Rights. In addition to working as a law clerk at a New York labour firm, she served as a staff editor and digital articles editor for the Review of Law and Social Change.

Her practice areas include commercial litigation, insurance and reinsurance, insurance litigation and arbitration, and property, casualty and liability insurance. She holds a JD from New York University School of Law (2025) and a BA with honors from Georgetown University (2022).
