Drew Melville

Drew Melville is a Counsel in Dentons' Miami office, focusing on real estate and land use law. He represents clients in acquisitions and dispositions, financing, development, leasing, governmental approvals, and public‑private development partnerships across Florida, New England and nationally.

With nearly 20 years of experience, he advises clients across multiple asset classes, including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, hospitality, healthcare and critical infrastructure, often involving urban infill, adaptive reuse, affordable housing, historic preservation, brownfield redevelopment, and financing vehicles incorporating CPACE, tax credits and opportunity zones. Notable matters include representing Vital Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Bang Energy Drinks) in its $110 million purchase of a Class A industrial development in Broward County, a $42 million industrial property acquisition in Georgia, and a $300+ million real estate portfolio refinance; and representing developers in public‑private partnerships involving the redevelopment of historic mill yards and downtown districts in New Hampshire and North Carolina. He also regularly negotiates project approvals with local governments and appears before public hearings on land use matters.

Drew holds a J.D. and an M.A. in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida (2006), and a B.A. from the University of Florida (2002).
