Caroline G. Bailey is an Associate in Dentons' Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Group and Corporate practice group, based in Pittsburgh, focusing on data privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence compliance.

She advises clients across technology, retail and manufacturing industries on compliance with U.S. and international data privacy, cybersecurity and AI laws and regulations. She has extensive experience drafting and negotiating data protection addenda, drafting privacy notices, and providing guidance on website operations. She also assists clients with privacy and cybersecurity risks in mergers and acquisitions, and supports organizations with incident response activities including breach notification, regulatory engagement and remediation. Notable matters include advising on data privacy and cybersecurity aspects of the acquisition of a series of US-based financial conference planning companies, assisting a regional grocery retailer in building a comprehensive privacy program in response to new state privacy laws, and coordinating cross-border breach response involving employees across the US, Singapore and the Philippines.

Caroline holds a J.D., cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (2023), an M.S. in Information Security Policy and Management with highest distinction from Carnegie Mellon University (2023), and a B.S. in Accounting, summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi (2020). She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and holds the IAPP Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) certification.
