Andrew J. Behnke

Andrew J. Behnke is a Shareholder in Dentons' Pittsburgh office, focusing on employment-based immigration and global mobility for multinational enterprises and early-stage companies.

He advises clients on complex immigration strategies, compliance, and corporate policies, and works with founders and key employees to devise short and long-term immigration strategies for essential talent. His practice covers the full spectrum of employment-based visas and permanent residency, including EB-1, EB-2/NIW, H-1B, L-1, and O-1 visas, as well as I-9 compliance and defending government audits. He also advises on cross-border workforce mobility and establishes the necessary corporate structures to support multinational transfers. His industry experience spans FMCG, robotics, AI, finance, insurance, IT, health care, high-tech, manufacturing, professional athletics, eSports, cannabis and green businesses.

Andrew holds a J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University (2009) and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2000).
