Alexander Deziel

Alexander Deziel is an Associate in the Real Estate group at Dentons, based in Washington, DC. His practice focuses on Construction Law, specifically transactional construction matters.

Alex advises institutional and corporate owners, developers and investors on matters involving large-scale development and infrastructure projects.

Before entering the legal field, Alex earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering and worked as a project manager and an engineer on multimillion- and multibillion-dollar construction projects. That hands-on experience gives him a practical perspective on project execution, contracting and risk management that he brings directly to his legal work.

He holds a JD from American University Washington College of Law (2025), where he was Senior Articles Editor of the Administrative Law Review, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University (2017).
