Abby Dockum

Abby Dockum is a Managing Associate in Dentons' Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group, based in the Denver office, practicing in Commercial Litigation. She represents clients in litigation matters, focusing on defending and counseling clients in class actions, insurance defense, and other complex commercial litigation, with experience in all phases of litigation including preparing pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, discovery, and depositions. She has first-chaired a federal jury trial in a pro bono matter.

Prior to joining Dentons, Abby served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Steven P. Logan of the US District Court for the District of Arizona. She has worked on matters including insurance bad faith suits, complex contract disputes, securities litigation, defamation claims, and class actions.

She holds a J.D., summa cum laude, from Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University (2021), where she was a member of the Order of the Coif, recipient of the Justice Sandra Day O'Connor Award for Excellence in Constitutional Law Studies, and served as a Managing Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal. She also holds a B.A. with honors, with highest distinction, in History and Sport Studies from the University of Iowa (2018), where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
